President Tinubu’s Vote of Confidence:We Have Been Vindicated-G-50 Group.

A Social Political Forum for Leadership and Thoughts ( also known as the G-50), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for passing a vote of confidence on his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajibiamilia, amidst smear campaign of innuendos against him, insisting that President Tinubu’s stance means that the group has been vindicated.

The group, had during a press conference held on September 7, 2023 by the Association’s Convener, Rt. Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Shehu Gusau Phd, Rt Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade, Hon. Usman Bawa ABG, and Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Kontagora, described as baseless and unfounded news story circulating on social media alleging that the Chief of Staff to the president, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila’s involvement in corrupt practices and bribery during the nomination and appointment of Ministers and Board Members by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by the Association’s Convener, Rt. Hon. Engr. Ibrahim Shehu Gusau Phd and Rt Hon. Abiodun Akinlade and Rt. Hon Abdullah kantangora ,described Mr.President as a man of wisdom, whose sense of comprehension, and ability to decipher falsehood stands him out as a true leader.

“Mr.President’s sense of comprehension, and ability to decipher falsehood makes him a man of wisdom; this stands him out as a true leader and thus, Nigerians should trust President Tinubu’s judgement in decision making.”

“We are confident that the choice of his Chief of Staff, whose leadership qualities dates back to the 7th House when he was the Minority Leader is a pointer to Mr.President’s ability to choose the best of the best for any given assignment.”The statement reads.

President Tinubu had on Monday during the Federal Executive Council meeting said he has absolute confidence in the integrity of his Chief of Staff.As he warned that All the campaign of calumny and insinuation against his Chief of Staff should stop forthwith.

The Group urged Nigerians to be a little more patience with the government of President Tinubu and most of the reforms of the government will addressed the social and economic challenges facing the country

The G-50 members are drawn from the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Assembly.
